This one-day private Egypt tour is a perfect combination of history, culture, and leisure—their triple effects make it an attraction to the unending beauty of Alexandria.
Itinerary:
Begin your adventure by heading straight to the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, one of the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages. The tombs are carved out of stone and mixed together with all the ancient Egyptian, Greek, and Roman arts, therefore making them one of the must-see old town Alexandria attractions.

Then come to the Roman Theater, an impressive 2nd-century AD structure, which very much illustrates the great power and wealth of the Roman Empire through the marble seats, mosaic floors, and the very intact columns of the once over 800 spectators.

Next stop is the world-famous Bibliotheca Alexandrina (Library of Alexandria), a contemporary architectural jewel that honors the ancient library that made Old Town Alexandria the intellectual center of the ancient world.

Next visit, Pompey’s Pillar, a tall Roman victory column, which is one of Alexandria’s biggest landmarks and is built in the middle of the ruins of the Serapeum Temple.

Then go to the Qaitbay Citadel, a fortress built in the 15th century on the very spot where the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria stood, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. From here you can have a view that is nothing short of stunning and it is one of the most popular activities in Alexandria to take photos of the sea and the city.

Lunch at a local seafood restaurant offers you the opportunity to relish Alexandria’s coastal cuisine.

Then it is the turn of the Royal Jewelry Museum, the delicate and refined exhibition of jewels and treasures belonging to Egypt’s royal family that you will visit starting there.

Montaza Gardens, the venue of the former Montaza Palace built in 1932 by King Fouad and later taken over by King Farouk, will be the final point of your journey. Take in the wonderful gardens with the palace amid them because they are 115 acres and view the Mediterranean Sea through the trees, which is the main reason for the grand architecture of the palace.

Your stop at the Stanley Bridge, which is a modern architecture landmark and one of the most beautiful coastal areas of Alexandria, is a must for photos before you return to your hotel.

You will be dropped back at your hotel in Alexandria at the end of the Full Day Alexandria Tour—this was a Divine journey through the Old Town Alexandria attractions, culture and history that make up the most charming coastal city of Egypt.
