When you arrive at Jeddah International Airport, our representative will meet you and complete all arrival formalities. You will be transferred to your Jeddah hotel in a private, air-conditioned vehicle. Relax the rest of the day after your flight and acclimatize to the city's vibrant weather.
Start in the morning after breakfast with a trip to Tayebat Museum, a great presentation of Saudi history that starts from pre-Islamic times and continues all the way through to the modern era. Then proceed to the Jeddah Open Museum on the Corniche, where beautiful sculptures created by foreign artists blend into the Red Sea backdrop.
Early departure to Jeddah Train Station to catch a high-speed train to the holy city of Madinah. Arrive, and your guide will take you to the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet's Biography and Islamic Civilization. Walk down Qiba Street, which connects the Prophet's Mosque and Quba Mosque, and view the nearby traditional Souq Taiba.
Since non-Muslims are not allowed inside the mosques, you will get a good cultural experience from the outside. Travel back to Jeddah by train after lunch and check back into your hotel.
Then, after breakfast, drive to Taif, the hill station town renowned for its milder climate and perfumed rose gardens. Ascend Al-Hada Mountain, part of the Sarawat chain, with its twisting roads and expansive views.
Visit the ancient Kaaki Palace, and then head for Al Shafa Mountain, whose cool breezes and breathtaking views leave a visitor spellbound. Cap the day with a visit to one of the rose factories in Taif and observe the centuries-old process of distillation whereby the legendary rose water is made.
You will be going to Al Baha today, a region with plenty of green landscapes and old structures. Begin at Raghadan Forest Park, where there are beautiful trails and rocky mountainous areas that create a peaceful haven.
Move on to Dhee Ayn, the Marble Village, whose glistening white-stone homes rest perilously on the valley floor. Visit Al Malad Castle, a defensive fort abounding in intriguing history, and finish your day at Al-Zaytouna Farm, where olive trees, rainwater cisterns, and uncomplicated, rural cuisine await.
After breakfast, proceed to Khairah Forest, where lush green agricultural slopes cascade down the hillside. Observe scenery over the Khairah Waterfall, perfect for nature lovers and photographers. Proceed to transfer to Abha on scenic mountain routes.
Spend the day discovering Rijal Almaa village, Saudi Arabia's most beautiful village. World-renowned for its painted houses and stone towers, the village is 700 years old. Stroll around the local museum, old homes, and the breathtaking Qasabat Al-Owus Tower for views of the valley below.
Begin your day in Abha High City to enjoy bird's-eye vistas of the surroundings. Next, go to the Al Raqdi Museum to get a feel for the region's traditions and handicrafts.
Spend some time relaxing in Abu Kheyal Park, a peaceful green haven with views for miles, before walking on to Soudah Mountain — Saudi Arabia's high point and outdoor recreation and nature appreciation hub.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Abha Airport for your departure, taking with you lifelong memories of your Saudi tour with Around Egypt Tours.
