Enjoy breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, where your guide will accompany you to start your Egypt Christmas vacation with a visit to one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, namely, the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus, the famous Sphinx, and the Valley temple. Stop for lunch at a good local restaurant, then move on to visit the Egyptian Museum and the treasure room for the child king Tutankhamen. Back to the hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

Check out of the hotel in Cairo after breakfast. Depart for Cairo Airport and catch your flight to Aswan, where one of our representatives will receive you upon arrival at Aswan Airport. You will then be escorted by your private guide to begin your tour with Egypt Private Tours to visit the sites of Aswan with an exciting boat ride to Agilkia Island and take you to Philae, one of the Nubian Temples that have been salvaged from the High Dam. You will follow the long colonnades, towers, and reliefs found in Philae, including the last hieroglyphic and demotic writings in Egypt. Then, transfer to your hotel. Overnight stay in Aswan.

Check out of the hotel after breakfast, and then transfer by private air-conditioned vehicle to Abu Simbel, about 3 hours and a half driving. The two Temples of Abu Simbel, with their unique styles, represent the masterpieces of ancient Egypt. They speak of glory and grandeur from the new Kingdom. The Egyptian government and UNESCO decided to work together to save these temples from the flood. The Temple of Ramses II was devoted to the four universal gods Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re, and Ramses II. The great Abu Simbel temple is also called The Sun Temple of Cheque Ramesses II. The Temple of Queen Nefertari is also Called the Temple of Hathor, the Sun God's wife; symbolically, the two Temples, that of Ramesses II and that of Nefertari, bring Ramesses II, Nefertari, Hathor, and the Sun God together as one. Later, take you back to your Nile cruise for embarkation from Abu Simbel. Overnight on the Nile cruise in Aswan.

By the morning, you will enjoy Sailing to Kom Ombo while getting breakfast on board. Arrive in Kom Ombo to visit the Temple shared by two gods Sobek and Haeroris in Kom Ombo. Again back to your Nile cruise for lunch and sailing to Edfu; upon arrival at Edfu, our guide will escort you for the visit to the Horus Temple at Edfu by Kalesh (horse and carriage) ride. Explore the huge Ptolemaic Temple of Horus at Edfu, the most complete and best-preserved of the Egyptian Temples, consisting of many columns, halls, chambers, and chapels. The two statues of Horus flank the twin-towered entrance gate. Have afternoon tea while sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.

In the early morning, you will set sail towards Luxor while relishing having breakfast on board, followed by disembarking from the cruise and being transported to the West Bank of Luxor. Starting in the royal cemetery for Pharaohs, the Valley of the Kings (originally home for the world-famous boy King Tutankhamun). Then you will be taken to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (the only Female Pharaoh) at El Deir EL Bahari, built in the 15th century BC, and the two giant statues of Memnon. (Those three tombs are chosen by the Egyptian Government for the purpose of preservation from the flood of visitors; as such, they are rotated during the year and cannot be confirmed as to which tombs before your visit.). After the tours, you will go back to your Nile Cruise for an overnight stay.

Breakfast will take place on board the cruise before disembarking, and then you will be taken on a marvelous expedition on the East Bank of the Nile in Luxor to the wonderful Karnak Temple, considered to be the largest ancient religious site in the world. It consists of a Hypostyle Hall with its colonnades and columns and is very famous for all the landmarks of Egypt. You will now be free to wander through the various sections of the large complex constructed during the reign of different Pharaohs. You will then transfer to the airport in Luxor for a flight to Cairo. Here, your representative will meet you and assist you under their service.
