Begin at the Majorelle Gardens, a botanical paradise created by a French artist Jacques Majorelle and further restored by the fashion icon Yves Saint Laurent. Move around freely amongst lush exotic plants, striking cobalt-blue constructions, and gentle water features, and let the gardens become a soothing oasis separate from the hustle and bustle of the city streets.

Proceed to Koutoubia, the greatest mosque in Marrakech, with its sheer size and stature rendering it the focal point of the skyline with an invigorating 70-meter-tall minaret. While incursion inside remains restricted to non-Muslims, an awe-inspiring view of its Moorish exterior from the outside adorns the occasion.

Next, proceed to stay in ambush among olives at the Menara gardens, a calm oasis boasting a great reflective pool dating back to the 12th century. From here, savor breathtaking views of the snow-capped Atlas Mountains, painting an inexhaustible picture for this historic site.

What's for lunch? Somewhere ethnic! After lunch, continue to take in Marrakech the right way--with a traditional horse-drawn carriage (kotchi) tour that will absorb you into the lively city streets and gorgeous sights from a more relaxed vantage point.

You end the day down at legendary Jemaa El Fnaa square, the heart of Marrakech. As soon as sunset sets in, the square unfolds into a mesmerizing madness of street spectacles, music, storytelling, snake charmers, food stalls, and artisans hocking their wares-all UNESCO-listed!
