Day 1: Marrakech
Your exciting 4-day Marrakech to Fes Desert Tour begins with an early pick-up from your accommodation or the airport in Marrakech. You'll embark on a scenic drive through the majestic High Atlas Mountains and the famous Tizi-N-Tichka pass, where you’ll enjoy panoramic views of the stunning landscapes.
The first stop will be at the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a fortified village famous for its appearances in iconic films like Gladiator, The Mummy, and TV shows such as Game of Thrones. After exploring this fascinating site, we head to Ouarzazate, known as "The Gateway to the Desert". Here, you'll visit the Atlas Studio, where many famous films have been shot, and the historic Taourirt Kasbah.
We continue our journey to the Rose Valley, which comes alive in May during the annual Rose Festival, where locals sell rose-based products like perfumes and oils.
