The ship continues north to Edfu, where a charming horse-drawn carriage whisks you through the quiet streets to the magnificent Temple of Horus, one of the most complete and best-preserved temples in all of Egypt. From its towering entrance pylons and dramatic granite statues to its richly carved inner sanctuaries, every wall tells a vivid story of ancient mythology and sacred ritual.

Explore elaborately decorated tombs carved deep into the limestone cliffs, their walls alive with vivid scenes from the Book of the Dead and the journey to the afterlife.

Continue to the magnificent Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, rising in elegant terraces against a dramatic backdrop of golden cliffs, a testament to the reign of Egypt’s greatest female pharaoh.

Your West Bank morning concludes before the iconic Colossi of Memnon, two towering statues of Amenhotep III that have stood guard over the Theban necropolis for over 3,000 years, a truly humbling and unforgettable sight.
