Your day starts with a guided Giza pyramids tour after breakfast, and this will take you to the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. Behold the ageless Great Sphinx and wander around the Valley Temple.
Then head to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), which is the largest and newest archaeological museum in Egypt and has all the treasures of Tutankhamun and thousands of ancient artifacts with a modern setting. Then, after a lunch at a local restaurant, you will be able to return to your hotel to spend the night.
Overnight in Cairo
After having had breakfast, you would be on your way to the Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. Your professional guide will be waiting for you at the airport to take you on a visit to the East Bank of Luxor. Visit the Karnak Temple’s large area of shrines and columns, which was built for and dedicated to the god Amun, and the Luxor Temple, which is now lit up and which was built by Amenhotep III and completed by Ramses II.
Later, you will be boarding a deluxe Nile Cruise, which will be your floating hotel for the next few days. Have dinner during the cruise and delight in the tranquil views of the Nile under the night sky.

Have breakfast and ride across the Nile to the West Bank, the place where Egypt’s royal secrets are hidden. Visit the Valley of the Kings tour, where the pharaohs of great power were buried and Tutankhamun's tomb, among others, was discovered. Next, proceed to the picturesque Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a phenomenal piece of architecture built around great cliffs. After enjoying your breakfast, take a horse-drawn carriage ride to visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu, which is actually one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. Be amazed by the huge pylons and the detailed hieroglyphs. Then, come back to the ship and proceed to sail towards Kom Ombo, where you will get to visit the interesting Kom Ombo Temple that is dedicated to the god of crocodiles, Sobek, and the god of falcons, Horus the Elder.
Start your day with the visit of the gigantic High Dam, an enormous accomplishment of Egypt’s modern times, with the chance for the best views of Lake Nasser. The next stop is the beautiful Philae Temple, which was so very humanely moved to Agilkia Island in order to protect it from being submerged by the Nile. Our tour prices are quoted in US dollars per person per trip, but you can also choose to pay in Euro or GBP. Once your Egypt Christmas Trip is confirmed, we guarantee that no changes will be made to your rate from our side.
On the final day of your Egypt Christmas Trip, it is advisable to avoid booking any outgoing international flights before 3:00 pm. You may also consider extending your stay in Egypt. Our Tour Leader is happy to assist you with arranging additional accommodation and transfers if required.
- Infants (up to 2 years old): Free of charge when sharing with their parents.
- Children under 6 years old: Pay 25% of the adult rate when sharing a room with their parents and using an extra bed.
- Children under 12 years old: Pay 50% of the adult rate when sharing a room with their parents and using an extra bed.
- Children 12 years and older: Considered adults, paying full rates.
- This policy applies to one child sharing a room with their parents, with a maximum of one child allowed per room.
To ensure you secure the Egypt Christmas Trip at the desired time, we recommend making a reservation early. To confirm your booking, a deposit of 25% is required. During peak seasons like Christmas and New Year, the deposit increases to 50%. This deposit will go toward your final payment, which is due one week before arrival or in cash upon arrival.
We offer a convenient installment payment option, allowing you to spread the cost of your Egypt Christmas Trip over 6, 9, or 12 months. You can pay the remaining balance upon arrival in Egypt using cash or a credit/debit card. Alternatively, you can choose to pay the full amount in monthly installments before your trip begins.
Tipping is a common way of showing appreciation for exceptional service, although it is not mandatory. It is often seen as a gesture to acknowledge the dedication and effort of service providers. However, it's important to note that tipping should not replace an employer's obligation to provide fair compensation.
In the event of canceling your Egypt Christmas Trip, the following charges apply:
- 61+ days before arrival: 10% of the total price.
- 31-60 days before arrival: 20% of the total price.
- 15-30 days before arrival: 50% of the total price.
- 1-14 days before arrival: 100% of the total price.
Please note that cancellation fees also apply to all domestic flights within Egypt.
