Welcome Drink

After having breakfast in your hotel, meet the private guide to proceed to see the Great Pyramids of Giza—Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus—followed by a visit to the Sphinx and the Valley Temple of Chephren. You will have lunch at a local restaurant, which will enable you to visit the famous Egyptian Museum, which is known for many fabulous artifacts. Your day will continue towards Coptic Cairo to see the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue and Islamic Cairo to see Khan El Khalili, the famous bazaar of Cairo. In the afternoon, transfer to Giza Train Station, ready for the overnight sleeper train to Aswan (approximately 14 hours). Dinner and breakfast will be served on board in your private cabin.

After breakfast on board the train, our representative will meet you at Aswan train station. Next, he will transfer you by a private air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel, or you can enjoy a tour to the Abu Simbel temple, which was originally carved out of the mountainside during the reign of Pharaoh Ramesses II, approximately in the 13th century BC. Then, you will be back to your hotel in Aswan.

Breakfast will be served at your hotel. Then, you will be transferred by a private air-conditioned vehicle to your Nile cruise for embarkation in Aswan before lunch. After lunch, enjoy visiting the High Dam and the Temple of Philae on Isis Island, then back to your Nile cruise. Dinner will be served on board.

Set sail for Kom Ombo after breakfast. The temple is unique because it is dedicated to the two gods Sobek and Haeroris. Continue cruising to Edfu with lunch served onboard, followed by a visit to the Temple of Horus. Enjoy afternoon tea while sailing toward Esna, with dinner served onboard the cruise. Overnight on board.

This morning, you will sail to Luxor and then visit the West Bank, taking an excursion to the royal cemetery for 62 pharaohs, the Valley of the Kings, and then to the mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Lunch on board. Next, you have an afternoon tour to visit the Karnak Temple complex and Luxor Temple at the East Bank of the Nile River in Luxor and then drive back to the cruise ship. Dinner will be served on board.

Breakfast will be served on board; disembark from your Nile cruise at 08:00 A.M. After breakfast, you transfer by a private air-conditioned vehicle to Paris Oasis to visit Dush Temple and spend the first night camping in the Western Desert.

After breakfast, you move onto Kharga Oasis to visit Qasr El Labkha—a Roman fortress on the old caravan route—and the oasis' ethnic museum. Next, you visit the Roman Temple of Hibis & Nadora from outside as well as the early Christian cemetery with its chapels painted with murals at Bagawat. Then you continue driving to Dakhla.

After breakfast, you head to the fabulous medieval mud-brick town of Al Qasr, where you explore the timeless streets and see the old school, an ancient olive press, and the granary. Next, you enjoy a trip to the Roman burial ground Mezzawaqqah from outside and the Roman Temple Deir El Hagar in its serene surroundings. Then, we return for lunch and spend the afternoon relaxing at the hot spring. Camping will be in the desert.

After breakfast, you move to Farafra Oasis, where you explore the Badr Museum and enjoy a swim at the natural sulfur spring at Setah. Next, we enter the White Desert, a spectacular region of wind-eroded limestone formations. The continual erosion has left a layer of fine white dust on the desert sand; thus, it is given the name ‘White Desert.’ We enjoy a sunset walk in this surreal landscape and spend the night camping under the stars.

After breakfast, you transfer to visit the Crystal Mountain and the Black Desert. Upon arrival in Bahariya, you enjoy a local tour to the hilltop ruins of ‘the English House. Next, you transfer to see the Museum of Golden Mummies, the Tombs of the Nobles, the Alexander Temple, and the Temple of Ain Meffetla. Then, you transfer to Cairo from Bahariya, about a 4-hour drive. Overnight in Cairo.
