13-Day Egypt Luxury: Cairo, Dahabiya and Sharm

Hotel check-out is after breakfast, and your private tour guide will accompany you to begin your luxury trips to Egypt by visiting one of the great attractions of Egypt, the plateau of the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. An onward visit to the Sphinx follows, while the tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple of the Pyramid of Chephren. Then, we'll continue to the visit of the solar boat in front of the Cheops Pyramid. Breakfast is followed by a luxury trip to Egypt in the company of your private guide. The tour begins at the Egyptian Museum, where the guide will show you the splendid collection of Tutankhamun and many other fascinating artifacts. Transfer and visit Salah El Din Citadel, built in the year 1183 AD to protect Cairo from the Crusader armies. After that, the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque is visited. Lunch will be served in a luxurious restaurant. Afterward, we continue on to Islamic Cairo, Egypt, where you can explore Khan El Khalili, the old bazaar of Cairo. After that, we go to Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue and then return back to the hotel and spend the night in Cairo.

After breakfast, you will check out of your hotel in Cairo and transfer to Cairo Airport for a flight to Luxor. Next, you will be met and assisted, then transferred to Esna to enjoy your luxury dahabiya, Nour El Nil. Your luxury tours will begin with a brief walk to the temple and a stroll through streets filled with beautiful textiles and other exotic goods. Back to your luxury Dahabiya. And overnight in Esna.

Sail to El Kab, on the East Bank of the Nile, which was once the capital of Upper Egypt and is still home to the temple of Nekhbet, and explore the row of fascinating decorated tombs carved into the slope of the mountains. Upon docking, you will embark on a beautiful walk through a small fishermen's village to visit the necropolis. In the afternoon, the luxury Dahabiya will arrive at Edfu, and then you will visit the wonderfully preserved Temple of Edfu by horse carriage. After returning to the luxury Dahabiya, you will set sail for a beautiful island.

Sailing after breakfast, and then you will stop at an island to swim in the Nile as you will have the chance to walk into the desert along a valley lined with boulders covered in ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs and Stone Age inscriptions. After breakfast, you will have a unique chance. You will usually be the only visitors at this fascinating site, as large Nile cruisers are not allowed to stop here. After visiting the small temple of Horemheb and walking through the sandstone quarries, you will visit a picturesque café to enjoy tea and shisha. You will then sail to a picturesque riverbank, where you will stop for lunch and swim.

After breakfast, visit the temple of Kom Ombo. The temple was dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile-headed god. Free day in Sharm, or join our optional tour to Ras Mohammed National Park, which is both a terrestrial and an aquatic nature reserve. The 480-square-kilometer protected area lies where the Gulf of Suez meets the Gulf of Aqaba in the Sinai's southern extremity. The arid desert terrain of dunes, gravel plains, fossilized corals, and granite mountains is home to many rare mammal species: Dorcas gazelle, Nubian ibex, and red fox. More comfortable to spot are the resident birds like terns, herons, gulls, and ospreys. Thousands of white storks pass through Ras Mohammed each year, heading south during September/October and back north during April/May. About 85 flora species live in the park, including mangroves.
