Day 1: Welcome to Cairo, Egypt / Sound and light show at the pyramids of Giza

Welcome to Cairo, Egypt

An Around Egypt Tours representative will meet and assist you at Cairo International Airport, and then he will accompany you to the hotel by a private, air-conditioned deluxe vehicle. At the hotel, the representative will assist you to check in and review your Egypt and Jordan tour to confirm pick-up times for each tour. At night, our Tour Manager will pick you up from your hotel in a private air-conditioned vehicle for a free tour to attend the Sound and Light Show at the Pyramids of Giza and Mykerinus. Discover the enchanting history of the ancient Egyptians. It starts with the story of the Sphinx, who has been the vigilant guardian of the dead city for five thousand years. The show also depicts the story of building the pyramids and relates the history of great and famous figures of ancient Egypt, such as Thutmosis IV, Akhnaten, Nefertiti, and Tutankhamon. Day 2: Visit the pyramids of Giza from Cairo

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel in Cairo, and then your tour guide will accompany you to start your Egypt private tour by visiting one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus; the famous Sphinx; and the Valley temple. Stop for Lunch at a good-quality local restaurant, and then move to visit the Egyptian Museum Treasures room for the child king Tutankhamun. Back to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 3: Fly from Cairo to Aswan

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Cairo and move to Cairo Airport to fly to Aswan. An Around Egypt Tours representative will meet you at Aswan airport. Your private tour guide will accompany you to start your Tours to Aswan with a boat ride to Agilkia Island to visit the Aswan Philae temple dedicated to the goddess Isis, one of the Nubian Temples rescued before the High Dam was built. Enjoy Philae’s long colonnades, towers, and reliefs, including the last surviving hieroglyphic and demotic inscriptions in Egypt, then transfer to your hotel. Afternoon stop for lunch at a good-quality, healthy restaurant. you will be transferred by a motorboat to the Nubian Village located on the West Bank of the River Nile in Aswan and just opposite Soheil Island. This fantastic tour to the Nubian Village lets you meet and impact the Nubian families and learn about their simple lifestyle, culture, and traditions. Day 4: Abu Simbel Tour from Aswan / Nile Cruise Luxor-Aswan

After breakfast, check out from the hotel, then transfer by a private air-conditioned vehicle to Abu Simbel, about 3.5 hours driving. The two Temples of Abu Simbel, with their unique style, are considered to be the masterpieces of ancient Egypt. They reflect the glory and grandeur of the new Kingdom. The Egyptian government and UNESCO decided to cooperate to save these temples from the flood. The Temple of Ramesses II was dedicated to the four universal gods Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re, and Ramesses II. The great Abu Simbel temple is also called The Sun Temple of Check Ramssess II. The Temple of Queen Nefertari is also Called the Temple of Hathor, the Sun God's wife. symbolically, the two Temples, that of Ramesses II and that of Nefertari, bring Ramesses II, Nefertari, Hathor, and the Sun God together as one. Later on, you will be escorted back from Abu Simbel to your Nile cruise for embarkation. Overnight on the Nile cruise in Aswan.

Day 5: Kom Ombo and Edfu

By the morning, you will enjoy Sailing to Kom Ombo while getting breakfast on board. Arrive at Kom Ombo to visit the Temple shared by gods Sobek and Haeroris in Kom Ombo. Back to your Nile cruise to sail to Edfu with lunch on board; on arrival at Edfu, our guide will accompany you to visit the Horus Temple at Edfu by a Kalesh ride (horse and carriage). Explore the huge Ptolemaic Temple of Horus at Edfu, which is the most complete and best-preserved of the Egyptian Temples, consisting of many columns, halls, chambers, and chapels. Two statues of Horus flank the twin-towered entrance gate. Enjoy an afternoon tea while sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 6: Private tour of Luxor

In the early morning, you will sail to Luxor while enjoying your breakfast on board, then set out from your cruise, where you will be taken to the West Bank of Luxor. Start your tour by visiting the royal cemetery for 64 Pharaohs in the Valley of the Kings Tour (the original resting place of the world-famous boy King Tutankhamun). After that, you will move to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (the only Female Pharaoh) at El Deir EL Bahari, which was built in the 15th century BC, and the two towering statues of Memnon. (The three tombs visited are determined by the Egyptian Government to preserve them from the large flow of visitors; therefore, they are rotated throughout the year and it cannot be confirmed which tombs before your visit.). After the tours, you will return to your Nile Cruise for an overnight stay.

Day 7: Luxor sightseeing tours & Cairo

Breakfast on board the cruise. Before disembarkation, you will be guided for a wonderful exploration of the East Bank of the Nile in Luxor to Karnak Temple, the world's largest ancient religious site. The hypostyle hall with its gigantic columns is one of Egypt’s famous landmarks. There will be free time to explore the different parts of the huge complex built during various pharaohs' reigns. Then you will be transferred to the majestic Luxor Temple, which was built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II for rituals and festivals and dedicated to the God Amun. In the afternoon, transfer to Luxor airport to fly to Cairo.

Day 8: Fly Cairo to Amman - Jordan

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Cairo International Airport for a flight to Amman. Upon arrival at Queen Alia Airport, our representative will meet and assist you with the customs and immigration procedures to start your Jordan tours. Transfer to the hotel in Amman for overnight.

Day 9: Jerash and Dead Sea Tour

On the second day of your Jordan tours. After breakfast, we will drive north towards Jerash, situated in Gilead's mountain foothills. the ancient city is reminiscent of the Roman Empire. Being one of the largest and best-preserved Roman Architecture sites outside of Italy, its grandeur can be seen in the colonnaded street, Oval Plaza, the Nymphaeum, and the Temple of Artemis. After this, we will drive towards the Dead Sea; being the lowest point on earth and filled with various minerals with medicinal properties, the site has developed into a health spa-like hotspot. The mineral concentration in the mud is used for therapeutic and beauty treatments. Queen Cleopatra and Sheba both were said to have known the value of the site and used it. Due to too high salinity, the water supports no form of life; hence the name the Dead Sea and floating is very easy. Be sure to prepare to swim and relax in the mud—overnight in Amman.

Day 10: Tour in Petra and Wadi Rum

Your tour manager will pick you up from your hotel in Amman. After breakfast, drive about 2.5 hours to the Rose Red City of Petra, Jordan's largest attraction. First started in the 6th century B.C. by Nabataean Arabs, the city boasts beautiful facades carved directly into the mountainsides' walls. Arriving at the visitor’s center, it’s a 700-meter walk to the Siq entrance, which is an impressive 1200-meter-long gorge of a kaleidoscope of colors that towers more than 80 meters above you. As you exit the chasm, you’re instantly transfixed by Petra's beauty. chosen as one of the New World Wonders, the place speaks for itself. From there, you take a one-and-a-half-hour drive to the protectorate of Wadi Rum, a sprawling desert landscape that impresses you at every turn. Made famous by the film Lawrence of Arabia, there are canyons and cliffs, sand dunes, and ancient rock glyphs before returning to Amman.

Our tour prices are quoted in US dollars per person per trip, but you can also choose to pay in Euro or GBP. Please be aware that prices may fluctuate during Christmas, New Year, and Easter. We are committed to providing the lowest possible prices, and we keep our rates up-to-date. Once your Egypt and Jordan Luxury Tours is confirmed, we guarantee that no changes will be made to your rate from our side.

Tips for Departure:

On the final day of your Egypt and Jordan Luxury Tours, it is advisable to avoid booking any outgoing international flights before 3:00 pm. You may also consider extending your stay. Our Tour Leader is happy to assist you with arranging additional accommodation and transfers if required.

Children Policy:

- Infants (up to 2 years old): Free of charge when sharing with their parents.
- Children under 6 years old: Pay 25% of the adult rate when sharing a room with their parents and using an extra bed.
- Children under 12 years old: Pay 50% of the adult rate when sharing a room with their parents and using an extra bed.
- Children 12 years and older: Considered adults, paying full rates.
- This policy applies to one child sharing a room with their parents, with a maximum of one child allowed per room.

Egypt and Jordan Luxury Tours Payment Policy:

To ensure you secure the Egypt and Jordan Luxury Tours at the desired time, we recommend making a reservation early. To confirm your booking, a deposit of 25% is required. During peak seasons like Christmas and New Year, the deposit increases to 50%. This deposit will go toward your final payment, which is due one week before arrival or in cash upon arrival.

Installment Policy:

We offer a convenient installment payment option, allowing you to spread the cost of your Egypt and Jordan Luxury Tours over 6, 9, or 12 months. You can pay the remaining balance upon arrival in Egypt using cash or a credit/debit card. Alternatively, you can choose to pay the full amount in monthly installments before your trip begins.

Tipping:

Tipping is a common way of showing appreciation for exceptional service, although it is not mandatory. It is often seen as a gesture to acknowledge the dedication and effort of service providers. However, it's important to note that tipping should not replace an employer's obligation to provide fair compensation.

Cancellation Policy:

In the event of canceling your Egypt and Jordan Luxury Tours, the following charges apply:
- 61+ days before arrival: 10% of the total price.
- 31-60 days before arrival: 20% of the total price.
- 15-30 days before arrival: 50% of the total price.
- 1-14 days before arrival: 100% of the total price.
