Day 1: Welcome to Cairo, Egypt /Sound and light show at the pyramids of Giza
Welcome to Cairo, Egypt
An Around Egypt Tours representative will meet and assist you at Cairo International Airport, and then he will accompany you to the hotel by a private, air-conditioned deluxe vehicle. At the hotel, the representative will assist you to check in and review your Egypt and Jordan tour to confirm pick-up times for each tour. In the evening, you’ll have the chance to join an optional tour to attend the world-famous Sound & Light Show at the Giza Pyramids. Our Tour Manager will pick you up from your hotel in a private air-conditioned vehicle for a free tour to attend the Sound and Light Show at the Pyramids of Giza. Discover the enchanting history of the ancient Egyptians. It starts with the story of the Sphinx, who has been the vigilant guardian of the dead city for five thousand years. The show also depicts the story of building the pyramids and relates the history of great and famous figures of ancient Egypt, such as Thutmosis IV, Akhnaten, Nefertiti, and Tutankhamun. Tour prices are quoted in US dollars per person per trip except during Christmas, New Year & Easter Egypt travel packages; however, you can pay in Euro or GBP. Moreover, we always update our prices to ensure that you receive the lowest price possible. Once your Egypt and Jordan tours is confirmed, no change to the rates is guaranteed from our part.
• Domestic flights
There are two domestic flights included on this trip. We usually use Egypt Air or Nile Air for this service. Baggage allowance is as follows:
Checked-1 Bag, max 23kg
Hand luggage: 1 bag, max 7kg
• Tips for the final departure
On your last day, we would recommend not booking any outgoing international flight until after 3.00 pm, or consider spending an extra night in Cairo. Our tour manager can assist with additional services like accommodation and transfers.

If your Egypt vacation includes airfare, extra charges for your children may be applied.
• Payment Policy
Reservations should be made as early as possible to confirm the desired Egypt and Jordan tours. Spaces will be secured as well as Your request will be confirmed upon receiving a deposit of 25 % of the required payment.
During the peak season (X-Mas, New Year), the required deposit will be 50% of the required payment. This deposit forms part of your final payment. The remaining balance should be paid up to a week before your arrival date or in cash upon arrival.
• Installments policy
Around Egypt Tours offers you a new payment plan that allows you to pay for your booked Wonders of Egypt and Jordan in monthly installments.
You will pay in monthly installments of 6 months, 9 months, or 12 months leading up to your arrival. You will pay the Rest of
payment upon your arrival to Egypt in cash or by credit/debit cards, or you can pay the full cost in monthly installments before your
Arrival to Egypt.
• Additional Entry Tickets
All our Egypt vacations and programs don't include the entrance fees to the specific archaeological sites, such as
• Entering one of the Pyramids inside
• Visit the Mummies Room at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo
• Visit the Solar Boat Museum at the Pyramids area
• Enter the Tomb of Tutankhamen at the Valley of the Kings in Luxor.
• Tipping
It is a customary attitude for expressing one’s satisfaction with good services rendered to him by staff on duty with him. We advise If you are willing to offer it, this will be great, and if not, you are not obliged to do it.
• Cancellation Policy
In case you cancel your vacation to Egypt, the following scale of charges will be applied:
From the date of booking until 61 days before your arrival date, 10% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Between 60 and 31 days before your arrival date, 20% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Between 30 and 15 days before your arrival date, 50% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Between 14 and 1 days before your arrival date, 100% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Additionally, there are cancellation fees on all domestic flights within Egypt. If you cancel a tour at any time, you will be subject
to any fees according to the airline’s cancellation policy.
• Emergency Cancellation Policy
Around Egypt Tours offers a highly flexible cancelation policy, in case your government or the airline declared a travel warning
for War, riot, civil strife, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, flood, conditions, epidemics, infections, or outbreaks of COVID-19. If that happened, we would be refunding you the amount paid for the booked tour, or in some cases, your payment will be a credit for future travel. You have the flexibility to apply this amount towards new travel services booked within 12 months.
According to the airline's terms and conditions, only flights’ cancellation/changing fees are charged, and bank surcharge fees are applied to the deposit amount paid.
