Day 1: Embarking and Aswan Sightseeing Tour
Upon arrival at Aswan Airport or railway station, the Around Egypt Tours has arranged a personalized meet-and-greet to welcome you and lead the way" to the start of your Dahabiya Iris Nile cruise. Afterward, you will be transferred onboard with a private air-conditioned minibus for the very cozy onboard welcome lunch.

Day 2: Abu Simbel (Optional) / Kom Ombo Temple
Begin your second day with the golden morning light painting the Nile as you enjoy a lavish breakfast spread on board the Iris Dahabiya Cruise. For those seeking an extraordinary experience, an optional early excursion to Abu Simbel is available, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness the colossal temples of Ramesses II, carved directly into the mountainside over three thousand years ago and standing as one of the most breathtaking sights in the ancient world.
As the morning gives way to noon, the Iris Dahabiya sets sail along the tranquil waters of the Nile toward Kom Ombo. Upon arrival, step ashore and begin your exploration of the remarkable Kom Ombo Temple, a uniquely double-structured sanctuary dedicated to two gods, the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Haroeris.

Day 3: Edfu Temple and Luxor Temple
Begin your day with breakfast aboard the Iris Dahabiya and then take a short boat trip to disembark for one of Egypt's most beautifully well preserved treasures, the grand Temple of Edfu. This beautiful sanctuary, dedicated to the falcon god Horus, happens to be the biggest and best preserved Ptolemaic temple in Egypt. Every wall and every angle narrates a story, making an essential visit to Edfu in the itinerary of a Nile cruise passenger.

Day 4: Disembarkation and Luxor West Bank
Enjoy the last breakfast on Iris Dahabiya Nile Cruise before disembarking at 8:00 a.m. local time. Your own Egyptologist guide will take you through Luxor’s West Bank to show you one of the main icons of your time on the Nile.
Visit the Valley of Kings, where pharaohs were buried, and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, an impressive building rising against the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari. The Colossi of Memnon will be standing there proud and tall for thousands of years to come.

Our tour rates are in US dollars per person per trip. You can also pay in euros or GBP. Prices might vary during Christmas, New Year, and Easter Nile Cruise Vacations. We aim to provide the best rates and maintain their accuracy. Once you confirm Iris Dahabiya, our rates remain fixed and may not change.

Iris Dahabiya Payment Policy
To secure your desired program and ensure availability, we recommend making reservations as early as possible. A deposit of 25% of the total amount is required to secure your booking, except during the Christmas and New Year holidays, when a deposit of 50% is necessary. This deposit will be deducted from your final payment. The remaining balance can be settled up to one week before your arrival date or in cash upon your arrival.
Additional Entry Tickets for Iris Dahabiya Nile Cruise
Please note that the Iris Dahabiya doesn’t include entrance fees to the special archaeological sites, such as entering the interior of the Tomb of Tutankhamun at the Valley of the Kings in Luxor. Separate fees apply for these attractions.
Cancellation Policy For Iris Dahabiya
Cancellations made from the date of booking until 61 days before your arrival date will incur a 10% cancellation fee of the entire tour price.
Cancellations made between 60 and 31 days before your arrival date will incur a 20% cancellation fee of the entire tour price.
Cancellations made between 30 and 15 days before your arrival date will incur a 50% cancellation fee of the entire tour price.
Cancellations made between 14 and 1 day before your arrival date will incur a 100% cancellation fee of the entire tour price.
Furthermore, please note that cancellation fees may also apply to domestic flights within Egypt according to the airline’s specific cancellation policy.
