8 Days - Esna / Luxor Every Monday
Day 1: Embarkation in Esna
Arrive in Luxor, and transfer to Esna for the board the luxury Steam Ship Karim Nile Cruise, perhaps the most graceful ship cruising the Nile today. Once shown to your cabin, you will be welcomed aboard with a delightful dinner, where you will settle in for the trip up through Upper Egypt. Overnight onboard in Esna.

Day 2: Edfu Temple and Sailing to Kom Ombo
Enjoy breakfast while cruising toward Edfu. Once there, explore the spectacular Temple of Edfu which is very well preserved and devoted to Horus (the falcon god). Here you can admire huge pylons, wide courts and incredible inscriptions that narrate old Egyptian myths.
Enjoy your lunch on board and cruise towards Kom Ombo. In the afternoon you can relax while watching the peaceful views along the Nile River before dinner and a night on board.

Day 6: Scenic Nile Sailing Experience
Take a relaxed cruise on the Nile in the direction of Luxor. Chill on the sundeck and enjoy the dynamic panorama of authentic Egyptian villages, palm forests and rich soil along the banks of the Nile in an unrepeatable steam boat atmosphere.

Day 7: Valley of the Kings & West Bank
After breakfast, enjoy all that Luxor has to offer from the West Bank of the Nile. Explore the famous Valley of the Kings and walk through the finely decorated tombs of the New Kingdom pharaohs.
You'll proceed to the beautiful temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, a unique feat of Egyptian architecture, before continuing on to the Colossi of Memnon, two imposing statues of Amenhotep III, standing guard over the Theban Necropolis for over 3,000 years.
Return onboard for lunch and a relaxing afternoon as the Nile glides quietly past Luxor’s timeless horizon.

Day 8: Karnak Temple & Departure
Enjoy your breakfast on board and then disembark from your cruise. The last tour that you will do is visit Karnak Temple that is one of the largest temple complex in Egypt, then visit Luxor Temple with amazing statue, grandiose columns and the linking of the former Avenue of Sphinxes to Luxor.

SS Karim Nile Cruise Payment Policy
To secure your desired program and ensure availability, we recommend making reservations as early as possible. A deposit of 25% of the total amount is required to secure your booking, except during the Christmas and New Year holidays when a deposit of 50% is necessary. This deposit will be deducted from your final payment. The remaining balance can be settled up to one week before your arrival date or in cash upon your arrival.
Additional Entry Tickets For SS Karim Nile Cruise
Please note that the SS Karim Nile Cruise doesn't include entrance fees to the special archaeological sites, such as entering the interior of the Tomb of Tutankhamun at the Valley of the Kings in Luxor. Separate fees apply for these attractions.
Best Time to Sail
The ideal season for a Nile cruise is October to April when temperatures are comfortable (18–28°C). Summer travel (May–September) offers the best prices but higher daytime temperatures (35–42°C). The Nile is beautiful year-round and the temples can be visited in all seasons.

Cancellation Policy For SS Karim Nile Cruise
• Cancellations made from the date of booking until 61 days before your arrival date will incur a 10% cancellation fee of the entire tour price.
• Cancellations made between 60 and 31 days before your arrival date will incur a 20% cancellation fee of the entire tour price.
• Cancellations made between 30 and 15 days before your arrival date will incur a 50% cancellation fee of the entire tour price.
• Cancellations made between 14 and 1 day before your arrival date will incur a 100% cancellation fee of the entire tour price.
